What is an eGalley?
An eGalley is a digital edition of an early, uncorrected proof of a forthcoming title. Some titles are made
available in advance of their on sale date so that booksellers, librarians, teachers, media professionals
may preview the forthcoming book.
What do I need to read eGalleys?
You can read an eGalley on any Windows or Mac personal computer with an Adobe Digital Editions reader (Free download) installed. eGalleys can also be read on a Sony eReader. Kindle is not currently supported.
How long do I have to read the eGalley?
An eGalley is available only until the book’s publication date.
Can I share an eGalley?
This eGalley is for your personal use only. We recognize that in some instances a colleague of yours may need to
read this eGalley (such as an editor assigning a book for review). In this instance, you should forward the
email invitation that you received for this eGalley, and your colleague can then apply and register for the
Simon & Schuster Galley Grab program.
Who can join the eGalley program?
If you are a bookseller, librarian, teacher, journalist, blogger, producer or other publishing
professional who does business with Simon & Schuster, you are eligible to register for eGalleys.
How do I find out about an eGalley for a specific title?
eGalley's are sent out by invitation only. When an eGalley becomes available, Simon & Schuster employees will
notify their business contacts to inform them about the eGalley for that title.
